Can I allowlist specific websites or channels to show ads if I want to support them?

Yes. Pie has a site-level or channel-level allowlist feature. You can manually allowlist a specific domain or specific channels on platforms like YouTube or Twitch. This approach helps you support content creators while still blocking ads on the rest of the web.

To allowlist a specific website, simply navigate directly to the website you'd like to allowlist and click on the Pie Adblock extension. Then click on the green toggle icon, just above where it says "Adblock is enabled on this site." Clicking on this icon should untoggle Pie Adblock functionality and move to a red display showing that Adblock is paused on this site. You can undo this option at any time by simply clicking on the toggle feature again to reactivate Pie adblocking on a specific website. If you pause adblocking on specific websites, you can view what those sites are within your personal adblock settings https://www.pie.org/settings/adblock under Sites you've paused.

Once you enable ads for a channel via the video interface, it will allow ads for that channel on all future videos. Enabling this feature via the video interface will allow you to see that creator in your Pie Adblock Settings under Creators You're Supporting https://pie.org/settings/adblock.

Allowing ads for creators or sites you want to support is completely optional and you do not earn rewards for their ads. If you are opted into Fair Ads, you will automatically see ads on participating publishers and they'll be labeled with a Pie icon.
